If you are missing several teeth in a row, our dentist at Who Does Your Teeth may recommend a dental bridge. This treatment restores your smile by literally “bridging” the gap in your smile to provide you with a beautiful, functional, and long-lasting result. To learn more about dental bridges in Henrico, Virginia, and to schedule your consultation with our dentist, please call our office at 804-447-1435.

Dental bridges come in both fixed and removable varieties, depending on your specific dental needs. Fixed dental bridges are non-removable, anchored via two dental crowns to surrounding teeth. Removable bridges are similar to a partial denture, and are held in place with sturdy clasps.

It typically takes three visits to our office to receive your new dental bridge. During your first visit, we will carefully examine your mouth and make any necessary preparations. These include scans and impressions used in creating your custom restoration. We will provide you with a temporary bridge while your final restoration is being fabricated.

Your second visit will be a try-in before the delivery of your finished dental bridge. This visit will help prepare you and your jaw for the placement of your bridge.

On your third visit, our team will fit the bridge, ensuring that everything is working properly. If you are receiving a fixed bridge, it will be cemented into place on the abutment teeth. You will walk out with a beautiful, functional smile you can be proud of!

If you need to replace one or more adjacent teeth, we invite you to talk to Dr. Jeffrey Neal about dental bridges. We look forward to serving you!
