Meet Dr. Jeffrey Neal

Dr. Jeffrey Neal

Dr. Jeffrey Neal grew up in the rural town of Nokesville, Virginia, where his drive to excel was apparent early on. He graduated as valedictorian of his high school class and was voted "most likely to succeed"—a moniker he strives to live up to.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in chemistry from the College of William and Mary, then went on to pursue dentistry at the Medical College of Virginia (MCV) School of Dentistry. During his time there, Dr. Neal had the opportunity to travel to Israel to study and teach dentistry—an experience he considers one of the most humbling and rewarding of his life. Upon graduating, he earned the respected Society of Dentistry for Children Award.

After falling in love with the beauty and energy of Richmond during dental school, Dr. Neal chose to open his practice in the West End near the Short Pump area, where he has been serving Innsbrook families ever since.

What sets his practice apart from most general dental offices is the comprehensive care he provides. In addition to general dentistry, Dr. Neal personally delivers orthodontic treatment, TMJ disorder therapy, and sleep apnea treatment—areas where he completed three separate postgraduate residency programs.

As a lifelong learner, he also completes over 200 hours of continuing education nearly every year—well beyond the state requirement. He believes that a truly great dentist must stay well-rounded and current with the latest research and techniques to best serve their patients.

Dr. Neal is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Richmond Dental Society. He also holds membership in the International Association of Orthodontics, where he collaborates with colleagues around the world to advance the science of orthodontics.
