Dental Crowns

When a cavity or injury causes extensive damage to a tooth, it’s important that you receive a customized dental crown for maximum support and protection. Our office uses a variety of materials, including porcelain-fused-to-metal, EMAX, zirconia, and gold, but we’re also pleased to provide the porcelain variety with E4D technology, as it is designed to produce results in less time. Because of their placement over diseased or injured teeth, dental crowns are considered one of the most effective restorative solutions available.

Tooth-Colored Fillings

Instead of allowing a cavity to spread deeper into a tooth’s layers, a tooth-colored filling can be used to seal it from possible reinfection and damage. Unlike traditional metal, which is noticeably visible and can cause sensitivity, composite resin is a malleable substance that is used to fill a cavity. Not only does it offer great durability, but it also blends in with your existing smile, so no one ever has to know you’ve undergone dental work.

One-Visit Crowns & Restorations with E4D Technology

Using E4D technology, Dr. Neal can cut the time it takes to receive a customized dental crown in half. Instead of waiting weeks for your restoration, you can receive a new and improved tooth in just one appointment. With this advanced technology, our team can quickly work to treat the problem area before taking digital impressions and building the new restoration while you wait. It not only reduces the number of appointments you’ll need, but it will also allow you to begin using your new smile the same day.

Inlays & Onlays

If your tooth has too much damage for a filling to repair, Dr. Jeffrey Neal may recommend a dental inlay or onlay. These restorative treatments work much like fillings, but instead of using a general resin, our dentist will have customized restorations created that fit and blend with your smile. And Who Does Your Teeth only use porcelain inlays and onlays, so you can rest assured that your treatment will leave your smile looking just as beautiful as it has always been.

Inlays are most often used when a tooth’s damage does not reach the cusps of the tooth, which is the surface where your tooth meets its companion on the opposite arch. Dental onlays are used to treat your teeth when the damage extends to one or more of the cusps (points), thus covering a larger surface area on the tooth. Once placed, porcelain inlays and onlays are virtually undetectable in the mouth and conserve much of your natural tooth structure.
